Tommy Pham, a potential trade chip and one of the best hitters for the Mets this season, left Thursday's season finale against the White Sox after grounding into an inning-ending double play in the third.

Pham, who recently missed abbreviated time with a groin injury, slowly made his way up the third base line as Chicago turned a 6-4-3 double play, and appeared to grab near his groin as he crossed first base.

The pending free agent is seen as a prime candidate if the Mets look to sell at the trade deadline, given his contract status and the fact that his .838 OPS is second best on the Mets, just one point behind Francisco Alvarez.

Pham went out into the field after grounding out, but was then replaced by Mark Canha.
