Ben Simmons didn’t get a win in his return to Philadelphia on Tuesday night, but he did show flashes of his vintage self while back on the floor where he turned himself into an All-Star.
Of course, the former No. 1 pick heard plenty of boos throughout the night, but after requesting a trade out of Philly while citing concerns about his mental well-being, Simmons seemed to embrace his role as a villain, even having some fun with the crowd during the game.
Simmons shushed the crowd after putting back his own miss, and smiled while breaking out a Michael Jordan shrug after he sank a pair of free throws earlier in the game, his first points of the night. He finished with 11 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds.
Still, Brooklyn lost to a painfully shorthanded Sixers squad.
