Only the Philadelphia 76ers!
James Harden was caught on video saying "Daryl Morey is a liar" and that he will never play for a team that he is a part of again.
“Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of," Harden says in the video posting on X by Shams Charania. "Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.”
The timing of the comment is not clear, as Harden has been in Shanghai, China. Part of his time there included speaking to a Jr. NBA camp.
The Sixers reportedly ended trade talks regarding Harden, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Saturday. And The Athletic's Sam Amick reported Harden has "no plans" on playing for Philadelphia or even attending Training Camp this summer.
"Harden is unhappy with Sixers president Daryl Morey over the lack of a long-term maximum-level contract offer, sources said, and the team is risking Harden's arrival at training camp bringing anything but a championship mindset," Wojnarowski wrote for ESPN.com.
