As expected, Kyrie Irving will not be available when the Nets try to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night, but James Harden will once again be available.
Irving left game four with an ankle sprain, and a Tuesday report by ESPN said the team was preparing to be without the star point guard for the rest of the series against Milwaukee. Per head coach Steve Nash, Irving will remain in Brooklyn during game six to receive treatment, in hopes he would be available for a potential game seven on Saturday night.
Harden, who left game one in the opening minute with hamstring tightness, was originally listed as out for game five the night before the game, but was upgraded to doubtful the morning of the game, then to questionable before playing 46 minutes and finishing with five points.
Harden was clearly limited by his hamstring injury, shooting 1-for-10 from the floor.
