Kyrie Irving turned back the clock with ridiculous fourth quarter display: 'It's winning time'

Kyrie Irving had himself quite the fourth quarter in the Nets’ 10th straight victory on Wednesday night.

The Nets star point guard poured in 15 points while shooting 6-for-10 from the floor to guide Brooklyn to a one-point victory over the Hawks, as Irving finished with a game-high 28 points on the night.

But the manner of his fourth-quarter buckets was all the craze on social media, as Irving turned back the clock to his prime days with the Cavaliers, as he converted wild yet somehow controlled driving buckets, nailed contested stepback 3-pointers (one that seemed to mirror his iconic triple in game seven of the 2016 NBA Finals), and sank nifty turnaround baseline jumpers.
He even drilled a heat check 3-pointer from way beyond the arc in transition early in the period to open up an 11-point Brooklyn lead.

“When that fourth quarter hits, it's winning time,” Irving said. “That's all I really know.”

Irving has certainly looked closer to the prime version of himself since returning from his suspension. In 17 games since coming back, he is averaging 25.8 points per game while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. He has been one of the main driving forces of the hottest team in the NBA, which also has an MVP candidate in Kevin Durant in the fold.
