Steve Nash is out of Brooklyn. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have now gone through Nash and Kenny Atkinson — plus Jacque Vaughn, who served as interim head coach, reverted back to an assistant role and is once again interim — inside of four seasons.

And guess who might be next? Ime Udoka.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the suspended Celtics head coach is among the list of candidates the Nets are looking into as the franchise's next head coach. Should Brooklyn elect to go with Udoka, the Celtics will allow him to leave for another job, per Woj.

Woj followed that up by saying Tuesday afternoon on ESPN that "there may not be a right head coach anywhere on the planet for (the Nets)," but Udoka's "defensive prowess and ability to command respect" fit the Nets' needs.

Shams Charania then later reported that Udoka is a "strong frontrunner" for the job.
