That Nov. 28 game was one of two Islanders games postponed due to the team’s COVID outbreak, the other a Nov. 30 game in Philadelphia, which has yet to be rescheduled.

Between COVID protocols, injuries, and their massive season-opening road trip, the Islanders are in the midst of a difficult season, entering Tuesday with a 5-10-5 record – those five wins tied for the least in the NHL – and an 0-4-2 record at their new home arena.
