Caller flips out on Rangers to Keith after third period collapse in game five
Ross in Bergen County called in to Keith's show after the Rangers' third period collapse in game five on Monday night, and he went off on the Blueshirts, who he believes could be in trouble both in this series and beyond.
"Look at these contracts, man…this team is absolutely shot," Ross said. "Momentum is all the way back with Carolina.
"Look at Igor. Look at Panarin. He's only got three years left. You know how fast those years are gonna go trickling by?"
The Rangers still hold a 3-2 series lead, and a potential game seven would be back at Madison Square Garden, but Ross is already envisioning an epic collapse by the Presidents Trophy winners.
"We might be looking at the fifth freaking time we see a blown 3-0 lead," Ross said. "It's gonna be another freaking year I gotta see the Facebook jokes about going to Lundqvist's house for coffee but he had no cups. It's gonna be the next 20 years with Igor."
