Igor Shesterkin was back on top of his game on Thursday night, blanking the Penguins in a big win for the Rangers that moved them within two points of clinching their first playoff berth in five years.
The New York goalie, after blanking the Penguins, also bid them adieu by waving goodbye to Pittsburgh’s group as it skated off the ices following a postgame scrum that followed some heated exchanges on the ice over the final five minutes of play, when the Rangers were finishing off yet another win over the Penguins.

Shesterkin, who had been struggling of late, put up 30 saves in the shutout victory, but his most memorable move of the night was his trolling goodbye wave.
