Aaron Judge's mother Patty called 61st home run just before it happened

Aaron Judge’s mother Patty endured many trips to Yankee Stadium, and eventually Toronto, patiently waiting to watch her son move alongside Roger Maris for the most home runs in a single season in American League history.

Patty watched Judge come up short for seven straight games, but apparently knew right when the “drought” was going to end.

Patty told Meredith Marakovits of the YES Network that she called it in the top of the seventh inning, just before Judge stepped up the plate, that this would be the at-bat her son would make history. That’s just what happened.

So, one member of the Judge family is elite when it comes to mashing baseballs, and the other elite when it comes to predicting the future. Maybe she’ll call Judge’s 62nd home run during the Yankees’ upcoming series in the Bronx against the Orioles.
