Sunday’s Yankees game was one of the first that will be broadcast on Amazon Prime, as 25 Yankees games this season – all of which will also air on PIX 11 locally – will be available to stream on the service, owned by one of the franchise’s new minority owners.
Technology can be hard, especially for older folks – believe us, Joe Benigno still has a flip phone! – but Gregg Giannotti is sensitive to the needs of our chronologically-challenged listeners. Well, maybe not, judging by Monday’s Moment of the Day, but hey, any chance Gio gets to combine one of his great impressions (in this case, Yankees PA announcer Paul Olden) with some Grade-A snark, we’re in!
