Giancarlo Stanton continues to be a postseason monster, and in Game 3 of the ALDS, he made history: his two-run home run in the eighth inning made him the first Yankee ever to homer in five straight postseason games – and only the fourth MLB player overall to go deep in at least five in a row – and his six homers so far this postseason ties A-Rod (2009) and Bernie Williams (1996) for the most by a Yankee in a single playoff run!

The dinger only chopped the Yankees’ deficit from 8-2 to 8-4 in this game proper, but it’s still history…and your SIXTH instance of “Giancarlo…non si puo stopparlo!” from John Sterling!
