Yes, Aaron Judge made Yankees history again in multi-homer night

Aaron Judge continues to make Yankee history as he inches closer to the ultimate piece of franchise lore.

Not only did the Yankee slugger blast his 40th and 41st home runs of the season in Friday’s win over the Royals, it was the pending free agent’s ninth multi-homer game of the season, which is the most in a single season by a Yankee in the history of the franchise.

And there is still two months to go in the season.

Now, the attention will turn towards the iconic franchise record of 61 home runs in a season, held by Roger Maris, as Judge is on pace to eclipse that illustrious number.
