The son of NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss has reportedly signed with the Washinton Redskins as a free agent after he went unselected in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Thaddeus Moss, a tight end out of LSU, will sign with Washington after his name went uncalled during the three-day NFL draft event, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Moss was largely off the prospect radar before reemerging in 2019 as a favored target of LSU star quarterback Joe Burrow, who was drafted first overall by the Cincinnati Bengals. Moss, who transferred from N.C. State after 2016, later missed substantial time due to injuries.

Contrary to his father's blazing speed and elusiveness, Thaddeus Moss has good size but "ordinary athleticism," according to NFL Draft analyst Lance Zierlein, and is better suited in a role primarily as a run blocker.
