It didn't take the Buffalo Bills long to add to the depth in the backfield after the release of Chris Ivory on Wednesday.

The team announced on Thursday that they have signed running back and special teamer Senorise Perry to a one-year deal.

Perry, 27, has spent five years in the league, getting his start with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent. He spent 2014 on the Bears' active roster, but then spent the next two years on injured reserve and their practice squad. Perry played for the Miami Dolphins in 2017 and 2018.

Perry has mainly played special teams and will likely do the same if he makes the Bills' roster out of training camp. In 48 career games, he has just eight carries.
