Yeldon spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after he was selected with the 36th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

In the 2018 season, Yeldon ran for 414 yards and had one touchdown in 14 games. His most productive season came in his rookie year in 2015 where he rushed for 740 yards and had two touchdowns. He has rushed for 1,872 yards in his career with the Jaguars.

Two weeks ago, Yeldon had a visit with the New England Patriots, but after leaving without a contact, he visited Buffalo a week after.

Yeldon will join a Bills running back corps that consists of LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore, Marcus Murphy, Keith Ford. Senorise Perry, and Christian Wade. At the age of 25, Yeldon adds a little bit of youth to the team.

TJ Yeldon is a very good pass-catching RB. I would think a move like this would signal maybe trying to take some off the plate of LeSean McCoy. Also, of all the UFA RBs this year Yeldon was the youngest (25). So the Bills signed the oldest (Gore) and youngest UFA RBs.
