After the Buffalo Bills swung a trade with the Washington Redskins to move back into the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, went on to select tight end Dawson Knox with the 96th overall pick out of the University of Mississippi.

Knox is a converted quarterback, but spent parts of three seasons at Ole Miss at his current position of tight end. His collegiate numbers are not eye-popping by any measure, but it is important to remember that there were numerous other high-tier offensive talents on the Ole Miss roster during Knox's time at the school. He reeled in 39 career receptions for 605 yards, including a career-high 321 yards receiving in 2017.
The 6' 4" and 254-pound tight end is Buffalo's fourth selection of the draft, along with first round defensive tackle Ed Oliver, second round offensive tackle Cody Ford, and fellow third round pick, running back Devin Singletary.
The Bills acquired the 96th overall pick from the Redskins in exchange for both of their four round picks, 112th overall and 131st overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft.
