Chad Kelly is getting another chance in the National Football League.
The Broncos chose the Ole Miss product with the final pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, selection No. 253, thus making him Mr. Irrelevant.
After two highly productive seasons at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Buffalo, Kelly committed to play at Clemson. He was dismissed from the Tigers’ football program in April of 2014 due to conduct detrimental to the team, then transferred to East Mississippi Community College, where he threw for 3,906 yards and 47 touchdowns leading them to the NJCAA National Championship. Kelly then committed to the University of Mississippi, where he threw for 6,800 yards, with 50 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
