Report: Waddle to miss 2019 season with quad injury

The Buffalo Bills have been hit hard by injuries during training camp, particularly on the offensive line. That didn't change this past weekend, as LaAdrian Waddle was carted off of the field during Sunday's practice at St. John Fisher College.

It turns out that Waddle's quad injury may have become a season-ending injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Waddle signed with the Bills in free agency on a one-year deal after playing last season with the New England Patriots. Waddle was one of several new players brought in by Buffalo to revamp the offensive line, but the swing tackle may not be able to suit up for the season if Schefter's report on the timetable holds true.

The Bills have two practices remaining on Monday and Tuesday before the team takes on the Indianapolis Colts in the preseason opener on Thursday at New Era Field.
