If the Buffalo Bills had the ability to steal one player away from any division rival in the AFC East, who would they choose?

Of course, even with Josh Allen, the franchise and fans alike would likely select Tom Brady. For the sake of this hypothetical, Brady is off limits.

Is there a star wide receiver to steal for Allen? A standout offensive lineman? What about adding another defensive player to an already impressive unit?

Fans took to Twitter on Monday's late night discussion to give their thoughts on who the choice would be:

Another quarterback from the 2018 draft class:

While the Bills didn't have a chance to select Sam Darnold and elected to pass on Josh Rosen for Allen, a few fans would re-write the script if they could.

Sam Darnold...Mr. Beane got the wrong one I tell ya!

Building around Allen:

Some fans decided they wanted to replace Allen with another second-year quarterback in the AFC East. Others chose to steal a playmaker that will help max out his potential.

NKeal Harry

Le'Veon Bell is the big name of the group and he would provide a do-it-all weapon in the backfield that LeSean McCoy may no longer be. Buffalo could also choose to grab the reliability of Julian Edelman, the upside of N'Keal Harry, or the home run threat of Robby Anderson.

Another way to help Allen is continuing to strengthen the offensive line and there were some interesting options selected.

Shaq Mason is the only correct answer.

Making the defense elite:

One could make the argument that the biggest needs for the Bills are on offense. Even so, contributors to the discussion couldn't help themselves by adding more talent to the defense.

Xavien Howard.

Bringing back Stephon Gilmore or grabbing Xavien Howard from the Miami Dolphins could create the best cornerback duo in the NFL alongside Tre'Davious White.

Jamal Adams

The Bills have a strong safety tandem in Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde, but Jamal Adams could be too good to pass up.

Fitzmagic forever.

Author's choice:

There are some really interesting options for the Bills in this scenario but it would be hard not to pair up Ed Oliver and Quinnen Williams on the defensive line. Imagine having both Aaron Donald and Fletcher Cox at defensive tackle. Oliver and Williams have that kind of potential.

Getting pressure through the middle is a huge advantage for a defense. Quarterbacks have nowhere to step up inside the pocket and it makes the jobs of edge rushers much easier. Leonard Williams next to Oliver could be just as lethal but it is too tempting to pair up the rookies.
