Avery Bradley made the wrong kind of history Friday night. The veteran logged 21 minutes in the Lakers’ loss to Phoenix, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at his box score. That’s a whole lot of nothing right there.
Accomplishing that little in that amount of time is actually hard to do. In fact, in the NBA’s 75 years of existence, it’s only happened a handful of times. Bradley joins Pat Connaughton, Tony Snell (who became a meme in the process), Andre Roberson, Hollis Thompson, Ryan Gomes, John Salmons, Warren Kidd, T.R. Dunn, Glen Rice and Walter McCarty as one of 11 players to not record a single statistic in at least 20 minutes of court time.
