LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) -- Bears receiver Allen Robinson and defensive end Akiem Hicks are among a short list of players being held out of practice with injuries.

The specific injuries for Robinson and Hicks haven't been disclosed. Bears coach Matt Nagy also downplayed the extent of the injuries.

“Concern level is not high at all," Nagy said after practice Tuesday.

Both Robinson and Hicks have been held out since last weekend, when Nagy referred to it as a veteran's rest period.

Bears kicker Eddy Pineiro remains sidelined from practice due to a groin injury. The team officially signed veteran kicker Cairo Santos on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Santos served as the Bears' lone placekicker in practice Tuesday. The Bears will likely carry two kickers on the roster this season, Nagy said, whether that's with one on the practice squad or both on the 53-man roster.

Santos was signed as the backup to Pineiro, Nagy said.

Bears guard Jason Spriggs remains out from practice too, though Nagy shared that his knee injury is just a sprain. Spriggs is considered day-to-day.

The Bears won't be required to release a formal injury report until Sept. 9, the first full practice for Week 1 of the regular season.
