Allen: 'Every little detail matters'

Bills quarterback Josh Allen addressed the media following Buffalo's 24-14 loss to the Falcons on Monday

Atlanta, Ga. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills offense was unable to get much of anything going on Monday night, resulting in a 24-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Despite touchdowns on each of the opening drives in the first and second half, Bills quarterback Josh Allen was pressured and challenged all night long by the Falcons defense. The reigning NFL MVP ended his evening by going 15-of-26 for 180 yards, two touchdowns, but two interceptions.

With a third-straight game of throwing an interception, Allen knows his play must get better in order for the team to get back on track.

"I've got to be better at seeing the things they're trying to do to us," said Allen following the loss with the media. "I need to make adjustments accordingly."

Allen knew the offense let the opportunities they had slip away from them, which resulted in the unit stalling on several drives throughout the game.

"We've got to take advantage of opportunities, some things that absolutely, completely went our way," Allen said. "It sucks when you feel like two-thirds of your teams, the offense and the defense, are doing their job and you're the team not to pull your weight."
