It appear as though the Buffalo Bills are going to get some needed help in the secondary on Sunday against the New England Patriots at Bills Stadium.
The team announced on Saturday that cornerback Levi Wallace has been activated from Injured Reserve after missing the past three weeks with an ankle injury suffered against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.
In addition, the Bills have placed cornerback Cam Lewis on I.R. with a wrist injury.
The addition of Wallace to the secondary will be much-needed for the Bills as cornerback Josh Norman has already been ruled out for Sunday's game with a nagging hamstring injury. Safety Micah Hyde remains questionable for Sunday's game as he was in the concussion protocol all week.
In four games played so far this season, Wallace has registered 15 tackles and an interception in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Rookie cornerback Dane Jackson could get some more playing time this week as he's been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game. The 23-year-old made his first NFL start last week against the New York Jets, where he made three tackles and picked up his first career interception.
Also elevated from the Bills' practice squad on Saturday includes defensive tackle Brandin Bryant, and safety Josh Thomas.
