As the Buffalo Bills prepare to play a game that may come down to which team runs the ball better, they were without two key defensive linemen at practice on Thursday, as Vernon Butler (groin) and Quinton Jefferson (knee) both deal with injuries.

Safety Micah Hyde also missed practice as he remains in the league's concussion protocol, while offensive lineman Cody Ford (knee) and cornerback Josh Norman (hamstring) both remained out, as well.

Wide receiver John Brown practiced in full for the second straight day, which was an encouraging sign for his availability on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Brown has missed two of the last three games with injuries.

For the Patriots, wide receiver N'Keal Harry is also in concussion protocol and missed his second straight day. Wide receiver Julian Edelman didn't practice and will reportedly be out due to knee surgery. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore, who's been the subject of trade rumors over the past week, and linebacker Shilique Calhoun, were added to the injury report on Thursday as limited with knee injuries.

The two teams will kickoff on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in Orchard Park. Weather forecasts are calling for rain and possible wind gusts of over 40 miles per-hour.
