The injury progress of Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano has not gone so well since injuring a pectoral muscle back in Week 4's win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

After playing just a total of 34 snaps over the last two weeks, the team announced on Saturday that Milano has been placed on Injured Reserve. He will miss at least the next three games for the Bills against the Seattle Seahawks this week, the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday, and the Los Angeles Chargers on Nov. 29.

Luckily for the Bills, they do get some good news at linebacker as Del'Shawn Phillips has been activated from I.R. after missing time with a quad injury since Week 1.

Milano has missed three of Buffalo's eight games this season; two games due to his pectoral muscle injury after the Raiders game, as well as one game due to an injured hamstring suffered in Buffalo's Week 1 win over the New York Jets. In those five games played, the 26-year-old has registered 21 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and has also come up with an interception.

Despite the Bills having a bye week after their Week 10 matchup with the Cardinals in Arizona, the NFL's amended collective bargaining agreement says Milano must sit out three games.

After making the 53-man roster right out of training camp, Phillips played a total of seven snaps on special teams in Buffalo's Week 1 win over the Jets. While Phillips is mainly used as a special teams player on this roster, the Bills could utilize him this Sunday as an option for the defense.

The Bills also announced on Saturday that cornerback Dane Jackson and wide receiver Jake Kumerow have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. It will be Jackson's third-consecutive game being called up from the practice squad, where as Kumerow will make his debut with the Bills.

Kickoff on Sunday is set for 1 p.m. EST, while pregame coverage on WGR begins at 7 a.m. EST with Breakfast with the Bills - Fantasy Style.
