Buffalo N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have clinched a playoff berth for a fifth-straight season, thanks to some help around the NFL.
In the hours before their kickoff against the Miami Dolphins on “Sunday Night Football”, the Tennessee Titans defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 28-20, allowing the Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers to clinch a playoff spot.
With a win Sunday night over the Dolphins, the Bills can clinch their fourth-consecutive AFC East title, as well as the No. 2 seed in the conference. That would then set up a matchup with the Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round back at Highmark Stadium.
If the Bills fall to the Dolphins on Sunday, they will secure the 7-seed in the AFC Playoffs and return to Hard Rock Stadium to face Miami in the Wild Card Round.
On the odd chance the Bills and Dolphins tie on Sunday, the Bills will clinch the 6-seed in the AFC and travel to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kickoff on Sunday is slated for 8:20 p.m. EST in South Florida.
