Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Jon Feliciano's time with the Buffalo Bills is over.
In a move to save more money on the salary cap, the Bills released the veteran guard on Wednesday with one week remaining until NFL Free Agency begins.
Before his release was announced, Feliciano took to social media to say goodbye to the city he called home for three seasons.
The move will save the Bills roughly $3.4 million on the salary cap, bringing themselves into the green with $2.5 million of cap space.
Feliciano was expected to depart the Bills last offseason for more money elsewhere, but the two sides agreed to a deal to keep him in Buffalo.
After starting six of the Bills' first seven games in 2021, Feliciano was phased out of the offensive line rotation in favor of rookie Spencer Brown, Ike Boettger, and eventually Ryan Bates.
Feliciano played just 12 total snaps after Week 8.
