The Buffalo Bills' first round matchup in the AFC Playoffs is set, as they will host the Indianapolis Colts as part of Wild Card Weekend on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park. Kickoff on Saturday will be at 1 p.m. EST.

The Colts (11-5) were able to earn the seventh seed in the AFC Playoffs on Sunday with a 28-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. They earned the final seed in the AFC after getting some help from the Bills earlier in the day, who beat the Dolphins, 56-26 to drop Miami to 10-6 and out of the playoffs.

With their win over the Dolphins on Sunday, the Bills officially clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC Playoff picture. This earns Buffalo at least two home playoff games, if they beat the Colts in the Wild Card Round.

Buffalo will host its first playoff game in Orchard Park next weekend since 1996, when the Bills lost to the Jaguars in the AFC Wild Card Round. That game was best known as Jim Kelly's final game in the NFL.

The last time the Bills faced the Colts came back in the 2018 season, when Buffalo was dominated by Andrew Luck in a 37-5 loss at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. In the loss, the Bills turned to Derek Anderson at quarterback as rookie Josh Allen was unavailable to play with an elbow injury.

Buffalo's last win over the Colts came back in the 2017 season in the famous "Snow Bowl" in Orchard Park, where the Bills earned a 13-7 overtime win to inch their way closer to snapping their 17-year playoff drought.
