The Buffalo Bills have added two players, subtracted one, and placed another on season-ending Injured Reserve on Monday.
Most notably, wide receiver Duke Williams has been waived with an injury designation.
Duke Williams signed with the Bills in January of 2019 after a standout couple of years in the Canadian Football League.
In two seasons with the Bills, Williams dressed for five games and caught 12 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old also led the Bills in targets (10) in the AFC Wild Card Round loss to the Houston Texans in the 2019 season. On those 10 targets, he had four catches for 49 yards.
Because guard Forrest Lamp has placed on Injured Reserve before final cuts, he will stay there for the entire season and is not eligible to return.
Newly signed cornerback Tim Harris and running back Kerrith Whyte likely are not in serious consideration to make the 53-man roster, but should play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Green Bay Packers.
With Zack Moss, Devin Singletary, Matt Breida, Reggie Gilliam, and Taiwan Jones all headed towards making the final roster, and Antonio Wiliams and Christian Wade dealing with injuries, the Bills needed another body like Whyte to get carries on Saturday afternoon.
