Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills blew out the New York Jets on Sunday, 35-8, in the 2025 regular season finale, and, what is likely, the final game played at Highmark Stadium.
Here are my Arrows Up and Down from the game, starting Up for the 12th time this year after the Bills finish the regular season with a 12-5 record:
ARROW UP:
Everyone involved in the send-off
From stadium operations staff,to security, and of course, the fans, the final game at Highmark Stadium went off perfectly both on and off the field. It was the perfect way to end a picture-perfect January night in Orchard Park.
QB - Mitch Trubisky
The Bills' backup quarterback was terrific, going 22-of-29 (75.9%) for 259 yards and four touchdown passes. He was not sacked, completed passes to 10 different players, and was in total control of the offense.
Offensive line
The Bills' offensive line, consisting mostly of backups, did not allow a sack, and not even a single quarterback hurry. They paved the way for 211 yards rushing and 470 total yards of offense.
RB - Ray Davis
Davis had a career day, rushing for 151 yards on 21 carries, an average of 7.2 yards a run. He added two catches for 23 yards and a touchdown, totaling 174 yards from scrimmage.
TE - Dalton Kincaid
It was a bit of surprise that Kincaid even played, especially as much as he did. But he was eating the Jets defense up, collecting three catches for 48 yards, all in the first quarter alone before coming out.
WR - Gabe Davis
Davis had his best day since returning to Buffalo, grabbing five passes for 41 yards, including a fourth-down touchdown grab, his first touchdown catch since October of 2024 with the Jaguars.
TE - Keleki Latu
Latu did a really nice job to be available for Trubisky and make catches on key downs, grabbing all three targets thrown his way for 31 yards.
LB - Joe Andreessen
"Buffalo Joe" started at middle linebacker for his hometown team in the final game at Highmark Stadium, and he played a solid game, collecting five tackles, including two for loss, and added a quarterback hurry.
Run and pass defense
The Bills' run defense was very good all day, limiting the Jets to 69 yards and 3.0 yards per-carry. The pass defense didn't want to be out-done, holding New York to just 53 net yards through the air.
2.7 yards per-play allowed
The Bills defense allowed just 2.7 yards per-play, the fourth-lowest of any team in any NFL game this season.
No interceptions!
The Bills did not become the first team to get picked off by the Jets this year. New York did became the first team to finish a full NFL season with no interceptions.
ARROW DOWN:
Injuries to Matt Prater and Max Hairston
The Bills did not escape this game injury-free.
Kicker Matt Prater did not come out for the second half due to another right quad injury, while rookie cornerback Max Hairston injured his ankle late in the contest.
The severity of each injury isn't known yet, but both would be massive losses for the team if they're unavailable for their first playoff game next weekend.
Fourth-down stops
The Bills were stopped on a 4th-and-1 from the Jets' 33-yard line late in the first quarter, then stooped again on another 4th-and-1 late in the third quarter.
