Emmanuel Sanders says his one goal in Buffalo is to win a Super Bowl

The veteran wideout means business as training camp opens on Wednesday

Emmanuel Sanders is coming to Buffalo for one purpose: To win a Super Bowl.

The veteran wide receiver recently shared a video of himself arriving in Buffalo, where he’ll suit up for his 12th NFL season.

“What did we come out here to do, win a Super Bowl?,” Sanders asks his young daughter.

She answers in the affirmative: “Yes!”

2021 Bills training camp sponsors

The Buffalo Bills signed Sanders to a one-year, $6 million deal this offseason to bolster their receiving corps. Sanders has played with winners throughout his career, lining up alongside Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning and most recently, Drew Brees.

Now, he’ll line up next to Josh Allen.

Sanders, 34, caught 61 passes for 726 yards and five touchdowns in 2020. He’ll conceivably replace John Brown, who played in just nine games last year following a breakout 2019 campaign.

When Sanders signed with the Bills, he was forthright about his admiration for their high-scoring offense.

“I used to sit on my off days on a Tuesday, I’d grab my iPad, and I would watch the Buffalo Bills, the coach’s film, and just the routes they were running,” he said during his introductory conference call.

Head coach Sean McDermott, meanwhile, has also been open about the team’s interest in Sanders. He’s admitted they were tracking Sanders for "a couple of years.”

The Bills, once again, project to boast one of the best receiving corps in the league, with Stefon Diggs coming back for an encore campaign. Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis and Sanders project to round out Allen’s top options.

During minicamp, Allen said Sanders also told his teammates about his Super Bowl goal.

Good thing the man is consistent.
