Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills impressed the football world on Thursday night in Los Angeles against the defending Super Bowl champion Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Despite turning the ball over four times, the Bills never looked phased by any of their mistakes, and continued to keep the gas on the throttle in their 31-10 win over the Rams.

While the offense was relatively efficient under the leadership of Josh Allen - never needing to punt for a third time in the last four regular season games - it was the defense that completely took the Rams for a ride, led by the veteran presence of Von Miller. The No. 1 ranked defense from the 2021 season managed to sack Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford seven times, while also forcing three turnovers, as well.
After making, what seemed to be, easy pickings of the Rams on the road, the Bills will next return home to Orchard Park to, once again, perform under the bright lights of prime-time. The Bills will open their home portion of the 2022 schedule on Monday night when they welcome the Tennessee Titans to Highmark Stadium.
This will be the fifth-straight year the Bills and Titans will meet in the regular season, with both teams splitting the matchups at 2-2. However, Tennessee has gotten the best of the Bills in the last two games in Nashville, including last year's loss on "Monday Night Football" with Allen coming inches short of a first down in the dying seconds of the game, inside the Titans' red zone.
While the Bills ride into Monday night's matchup coming off a big win in Los Angeles, the Titans will be limping into town following a stunning home loss to the New York Giants at Nissan Stadium. The Titans were lined up for the game-winning field goal with just seconds remaining on the clock, but a 47-yard field goal from Randy Bullock was pushed too far to the left.
After the Bills' statement win on the road to open the 2022 season, Howard Simon is riding higher on this team than he ever has before.
Heading into Thursday night's season opener, Howard was feeling very good about Buffalo's chances this year to not only repeat as AFC East champions, but also make another deep playoff run en route to a Super Bowl appearance. In the first regular season edition of "Howard Picks the Bills", Howard picked Buffalo to finish the season going 13-4 with losses to the Rams, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions.
However, that confidence level skyrocketed in the Week 2 edition of "Howard Picks the Bills", as Howard only picked the Bills to lose once(!) to the Chiefs to establish a new all-time high for his win picks to 16-1.
