After getting out to a 28-3 third quarter lead this past Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams in Orchard Park, the Buffalo Bills saw it disappear and faced a 32-28 deficit with 4:30 left in regulation.
However, Bills quarterback Josh Allen managed to carry the Bills downfield for another late fourth quarter comeback as he found tight end Tyler Kroft in the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown with 15 seconds remaining on the clock.
With the 35-32 win at Bills Stadium, the Bills are now 3-0 to start the season for a second consecutive year.
Allen continues to play very well this season with his third consecutive performance of at least 300 yards passing. He went on to finish the day going 24-of-33 for 311 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
So far in three games this year, Allen has thrown for 1,038 yards, 10 touchdowns and just his one pick. He currently sits in second place for passing yards, second in touchdowns thrown, second in yards per-attempt (9.1) and seventh in completion percentage (71.1%).
With a win this upcoming week on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Bills would start a season 4-0 for the first time since the 2008 season. However, that season saw the Bills lose nine of their last 12 games to finish the campaign with a 7-9 record.
Howard Simon is not expecting a collapse of that epic proportion this time around as he continued to ride high with the Bills this season. After picking the Bills to beat the Rams and finish the 2020 season 12-4 last week, Howard remains consistent with his pick of 12-4 for the season, while also picking the Bills to beat the Raiders this Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.
