For a fourth time in the 2020 season, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been named as the NFL's AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

This time, he earns the honor after his Week 15 performance against the Denver Broncos, where he completed 70% of his passes (28-of-40) for 359 yards and two touchdowns. He also added added 33 yards on the ground and rushed for two touchdowns at Empower Field at Mile High.

Allen is the only player in Bills franchise history to earn the honor of AFC Offensive Player of the Week four times in one season. He was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week back in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins, Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks, and just two weeks ago against the San Francisco 49ers.

With his sixth-career AFC Offensive Player of the Week honor, Allen moves past Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas (five) for the second-most Offensive Player of the Week awards in Bills history. He just trails Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly for the most in team history with 10.

So far through 14 games this season, Allen has completed 68.7% of his passes for 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns to just nine interceptions. He's also held on to the ball 96 times for 383 yards rushing and eight touchdowns, while also catching one pass for 12 yards and a touchdown.

In terms of league rankings, Allen currently sits fourth passing yards, sixth in completion percentage, tied for sixth in passing touchdowns, tied for seventh in average yards per-attempt (7.8), and seventh in passer rating (107.1).

Allen became the first player in NFL history on Saturday to tally more than 4,000 passing yards, 30-plus passing touchdowns and eight-plus rushing touchdowns in the same season.

It is the sixth time this season where a Bills player has been named the AFC Player of the Week. Along with Allen's four Offensive Player of the Week honors, defensive end Jerry Hughes was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week back in Week 7, while linebacker A.J. Klein was also named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week back in Week 12.
