Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Less than 24 hours after the Buffalo Bills fell to 5-4 on the 2023 season with a 24-18 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on "Sunday Night Football", head coach Sean McDermott addressed the media and offered an update on a number of players who left the game due to injury.
Linebacker Terrel Bernard left the game during the second quarter and is now officially in the league's concussion protocol, according to McDermott.
Meanwhile, said "we'll see" when asked about injuries to safety Micah Hyde (stinger) and cornerback Christian Benford (hamstring). As for cornerback Dane Jackson, McDermott says he is fine.
When asked on Monday if there is any change, or even consideration of change to the status of offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, McDermott gave a simple "no" for an answer. Dorsey has come under fire from fans as of late for a lack of consistency from the offensive unit.
The Bills will have an extra day of preparation this week, as they will next host the Denver Broncos on "Monday Night Football" at Highmark Stadium.
