It's a nice week of relaxation for Howard Simon after a Bills win over the Chiefs

Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - After a 5-1 start to the 2022 season, the Buffalo Bills are set for a week off from action with their bye week in Week 7.

That is not before the Bills managed to go to Kansas City this past Sunday and exact revenge on the Chiefs after their loss in the memorable AFC Divisional Round matchup this past January.

It was Josh Allen who helped lead the charge for the Bills, as he put together a late go-ahead touchdown drive to give the Bills a lead with just over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. His 14-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dawson Knox gave Buffalo a 24-20 advantage, then it was up to the defense to shut the door on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense.

Needing a touchdown to re-take the lead late, Mahomes fired a pass down the field that was picked off by Bills cornerback Taron Johnson, just 13 seconds into the drive to help seal the game for Buffalo.

After enjoying a weekend to recoup and relax, the Bills will then return to the bright lights of prime-time when they host the Green Bay Packers on "Sunday Night Football" on Oct. 30 at Highmark Stadium.

As for the Packers, they are looking to rebound from a pair of losses to the New York (New Jersey)-based teams in consecutive weeks. Green Bay first suffered a defeat overseas to the New York Giants, then returned home to Lambeau Field to get smacked around by the New York Jets.

As of now, the Packers sit in unfamiliar territory in the NFC North with a 3-3 record, sitting behind division rival Minnesota Vikings, who are also 5-1 to start the year. Their next matchup will come this Sunday when they travel to Washington to face the 2-4 Commanders.

While the Bills get a nice week to relax and rest up for the second stretch of the 2022 season, there is no week off for Howard Simon when it comes to him picking the Bills!

In his Week 6 picks before the Chiefs game, not only did Howard have the Bills beating Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium, he went on to pick the Bills to go 15-2 with only one more loss in Cincinnati against the Bengals in Week 17.

One week later, Howard is back on top of his picking game, predicting the Bills to finish the 2022 season with as perfect of a season as possible, going 16-1 and winning out while clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
