Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills are in the middle of mandatory minicamp in Orchard Park this week, which is the final offseason tune-up for the team before training camp gets started in late July at St. John Fisher University in Rochester.
Even though training camp seems like a good ways away, Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau feels his football season is a year-round grind.
LISTEN LIVE TO WGR:
"When I work out in the offseason, I'm thinking about the season," said Rousseau on Wednesday during an appearance on the "Jeremey White Show" on WGR. "If I'm not doing that, I'm really just wasting time."
The third-year pro feels he can get better in so many different ways heading into the 2023 season. Rousseau also knows he can learn more this offseason from other pass rushers when he's set to take part in Von Miller's Pass Rush Summit.
"I've talked to [Maxx] Crosby a lot, I like the way he plays as a taller dude," Rousseau said. "At the same time, I feel you have to have that confidence in yourself."
Despite the departure of middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds this March, as well as the leave of absence from defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier this offseason, Rousseau still feels the Buffalo defense is the same since he was drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft.
