McDermott: 'I'll give credit where credit's due'

Bills head coach Sean McDermott addressed the media following the Bills' 35-10 loss to the Ravens

Baltimore, Md. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills found themselves in the losing column for the first time this season following a blowout 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday night.

From the start of the contest, the offense couldn't get into enough of a rhythm. only managing three points through the opening half of football. And despite a bit of a push to start the third quarter, the Bills failed to gain enough traction to get back into the game in a timely fashion.

"In some of the fringe areas, they were either pressuring or getting pressure with their [front-]four, and some of the drives that we did have were stalling out there," said Bills head coach Sean McDermott following Sunday's loss during his postgame press conference.

While the offense hit a snag right from the get-go, the Buffalo defense struggled just as much trying to stifle a high-flying Ravens offense, led by reigning MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.

"Overall, as a defense, when you're talking about draws and screens, those types of things, we have got to do a better job of feeling the game, the indicators and the keys," McDermott said. "I didn't think we did a good enough job overall as a defense, in that regard."
