Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills appeared to be getting much healthier on Sunday at the team’s first practice of the week, as they prepare to face the Super Bowl champion Rams in Los Angeles on Thursday night in the NFL’s season-opening game.

Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and defensive tackle Tim Settle, Jr. were both back on the field after missing time recently due to injuries.

Jordan Poyer was out of the red non-contact jersey that he wore when he returned to the field last week. The All-Pro safety missed the majority of training camp, and all of the preseason with an elbow injury.

Head coach Sean McDermott said before practice that he’d be surprised if Poyer wasn’t able to play on Thursday night, but didn’t give any indication on the possible status of McKenzie or Settle.

The first official injury report for both teams comes out Monday.
