Peyton Manning amazed by Josh Allen after watching film

The future Hall of Fame quarterback has high optimism for the Bills quarterback

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has gotten plenty of compliments over the past few weeks, but this one stands out.

It comes from future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.

When breaking down the Bills quarterback's performance against the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 for his ESPN+ series "DETAIL", Manning couldn't help but relay his optimism regarding Allen.

"Look at this throw," Manning says after breaking down an Allen throw to Stefon Diggs. "Wow. He's got a guy that hits him as he's throwing to keep him from finishing the throw. His own guy actually kind of hits him. It's one thing to get hit by a defensive lineman, you're getting hit by an offensive lineman. You got 600 pounds coming at you and he still hits Diggs in stride on a little 43-yard laser. Awesome play."

Allen is coming off a week in Miami that saw him win AFC Offensive Player of the Week, having thrown for 417 yards and four touchdowns.

"I'm telling you, he can make these throws with guys in his face," Manning added. "That shows you how talented he is. Great game by Josh Allen."

Allen will look for a repeat performance on Sunday when the 2-0 Bills welcome the 2-0 Los Angeles Rams to Orchard Park for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
