Bills sign offensive tackle La'el Collins to one-year deal

The veteran tackle missed all of the 2023 season due to a knee injury

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have added some veteran depth to the offensive line ahead of the 2024 season.

As first reported last week Thursday, the Bills have signed offensive tackle La’el Collins on a one-year contract. Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report reported the deal is worth up to $6.25 million.

After going undrafted in 2015 out of LSU, Collins signed with the Cowboys and spent seven seasons in Dallas, starting 71 games.

During the 2022 offseason, Collins was released by the Cowboys and decided to then sign with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he started 15 games before suffering a torn ACL and MCL late in the year.

The 30-year-old did attempt to make a comeback with the Cowboys last season, signing in Dallas as a late-season depth piece to the practice squad.
