In Monday night's 14-10 loss to the New England Patriots at Highmark Stadium, the Bills ran for 99 yards on 25 carries, although much of that came on Josh Allen scrambles. The fourth-year Bills quarterback finished the game with six carries for 39 yards.

When asked about whether or not he and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll are on the same page offensively, McDermott says those are thus your work through over the course of a season.

"Challenges are different every year. Those are things we're working through to get fixed,” McDermott said when meeting with the media on Tuesday.

"Want to make sure we're on the same page, I believe we are. Got to go out there and execute at a higher level."
