London (WGR 550) - Sunday will mark the season debut for one of the Buffalo Bills' top defensive players, who has not played since last November after suffering a torn ACL.

Bills veteran pass rusher Von Miller is slated to play on Sunday when his team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. However, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Miller will be monitored throughout the game on a pitch count, likely playing on third down and certain pass rush situations.

Miller last played for the Bills on Thanksgiving Day last season against the Detroit Lions when going down with his injury.

At first, the team and Miller thought he had sustained a relatively minor knee injury that needed some repairs, but wouldn't force him to miss a long stretch of time. However, once doctors started surgery to repair the originally diagnosed damage, they discovered the damage to Miller's right ACL, thus ending his season.

In 11 games played last year in his first season with the Bills, Miller was able to total 21 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 12 tackles for loss, and eight sacks.

The 34-year-old has been on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list since the start of the 2023 season. He was eligible to return to practice earlier this week, and was able to participate on a limited basis all three days.

Kickoff on Sunday from London is set for 9:30 a.m. ET on the official voice of the Bills - WGR Sports Radio 550.
