Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills defensive end Von Miller returned to the practice field for the first time this season on Wednesday, just a little over 10 months since tearing his ACL during a Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions last year at Ford Field.
Miller suiting up for practice means the Bills now have 21 days to place him on their 53-man active roster. They can elect to keep him on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list until then while he continues to practice.
After practice, held under brilliant sunshine and over 80 degrees just outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center, Miller told the media he didn't feel any limitations.
Head coach Sean McDermott would not commit to Miller playing or not on Sunday when the team takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, saying they'll take it one day at a time.
Miller was listed as a limited participant on the official Wednesday injury report.
Meanwhile, cornerback Christian Benford wore a red non-contact jersey for the session, and was limited with a shoulder injury. Safety Jordan Poyer was also limited with a knee injury, but head coach Sean McDermott said he was doing better than he was last week when he missed the team's 48-20 win over the Miami Dolphins.
In addition, tight end Dawson Knox (quad) and running back Damien Harries (neck) were also limited on Wednesday.
Linebacker Matt Milano, defensive end Leonard Floyd, and safety Micah Hyde all received veteran rest days. The team gets set to fly to London on Thursday night.
