Brandon Aiyuk does not sound all that amused about the reports of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance dealing with “arm fatigue.”
The Niners wide receiver posted a video on his Instagram page on Tuesday showing him catching some passes from Lance as the two appeared to have worked out together recently as training camp approaches.
TUNE IN NOW TO 95.7 THE GAME

But it was the tongue-in-cheek caption Aiyuk left that threw some shade at Lance’s critics.
“The only three throws from the day, his arm got fatigued after that…” he wrote.
Lance, who is expected to be the starting quarterback in his second year, has been subject to claims from Mike Silver and Colin Cowherd, citing unnamed sources, that Lance has “arm fatigue” and accuracy issues.
Aiyuk, one of the players who is catching passes from Lance, clearly feels otherwise.
It’s just a precursor for what may be to come for Lance, who will be under a microscope this season as the starter.
The commitment to Lance, whom the Niners trade up to draft with the third overall pick last year, also comes after the Niners fell one game shy of the Super Bowl last year. What kind of leap Lance makes in his second year could be the difference in making them a championship contender or not.
In six games as a rookie, two of which he started, Lance threw for 603 yards, five touchdowns, two interceptions while also rushing for 168 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries.
