The Milwaukee Brewers snap their season high 4-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night.
Justin Smoak got the Brewers on the board in the first inning with an RBI single that scored Christian Yelich. Smoak would add to the lead with a two-run homerun in the 3rd inning. Omar Narvaez also hit his first homerun with the Brewers tonight in the 4th inning to give the crew a 4-0 lead at the time. Starter Brett Anderson had a strong performance, going six innings and giving up just two runs. Josh Hader would also get his 6th save.
The Brewers and Reds will have game two of a four-game set tomorrow night. First pitch at 7:10 PM.
