Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - For a second-straight season in the National Lacrosse League, the championship round will feature the Buffalo Bandits taking on the Colorado Mammoth in a best-of-three series.

Listen live to WGR:

After the Bandits took care of business in two games against the Toronto Rock in the Eastern Conference Finals, all that needed to be determined was the Western Conference foe on Saturday night.

After splitting the opening two games of the NLL Western Conference Finals, Colorado was able to take care of business in Game 3 against the Calgary Roughnecks with a 9-7 win at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Game 1 of the NLL Finals will take place on Saturday, May 27 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, followed by Game 2 on Monday, May 29 at Ball Arena in Colorado.

Game 3 of the NLL Finals, if necessary, will be back in Buffalo on Saturday, June 3 at KeyBank Center.

During the 2022 NLL Finals, the Bandits and Mammoth split Games 1 and 2 with both teams winning on home field. Then in the do-or-die Game 3 back in Buffalo, Colorado was able to keep the Bandits silenced in front of the home fans in a 10-8 victory.

This will be the third time overall the Bandits and Mammoth have meet in the NLL Finals, with Colorado winning the first two matchups. The other came in 2006 when the Mammoth beat Buffalo in Western New York.

The Bandits will be searching for a fifth championship in franchise history this NLL Finals, and the first since 2008.
