I.C. Light is now “the Official Local Beer of the Pitt Panthers.”
Pitt Athletics and JMI Sports announced the four-year partnership on Wednesday.
"IC Light is an iconic brand and is one of many great traditions associated with Pittsburgh," said Laila Brock, Vice President of Sponsorship Sales & Operations for Pitt Sports Marketing. "As our list of official partners continues to grow, we are proud to include IC Light as the Official Local Beer of the Pitt Panthers."
The partnership means I.C. Light will be the featured beer at Heinz Field for Pitt football home games and at the Petersen Events Center.
"The Pittsburgh Brewing team is excited to partner with the Pitt Panthers, bringing together two long-standing traditions in Pittsburgh," said the Pittsburgh Brewing Team.
"There is nothing more Pittsburgh than cheering on the Pitt Panthers while enjoying an IC Light."
