Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) – The NHL added two more Buffalo Sabres players to the league's COVID-19 protocol list on Saturday. Dylan Cozens and Curtis Lazar join Rasmus Ristolainen, Taylor Hall, Brandon Montour, Tobi Rieder and Jake McCabe on the list.

Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger is already in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols after he tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

The Sabres have been in quarantine since Tuesday, so they have not been around each other in four days.

Buffalo is supposed to resume its season on Thursday against the Washington Capitals, but that is not a sure thing.

Washington had Jakub Vrana added to the list on Saturday. Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Samsonov have been on the list since Jan. 20, which means they've been in COVID-19 protocols for two-and-a-half weeks.
